Angie Taylor
Angie Taylor is a Scottish-born artist based on the south coast of England, near Brighton, working in virtual reality, digital sculpture, illustration and animation. She studied sculpture in Scotland in the early 1980s, making wood carvings, bronzes and steel constructions, then moved to London, where she joined the punk and indie scenes and produced fanzines, flyers, record covers and t-shirts. By the late 1980s she was DJing at LGBTQ+ venues including Heaven, The Fridge and Turnmills, using Deluxe Paint to make visuals alongside her sets. In the 1990s she worked as a demo artist for Adobe and Apple, and she has written several books on motion graphics. Taylor was among the early crypto artists working on the Tezos marketplace Hic et Nunc. Her work deals with identity, isolation and otherness.
