Anna Condo
Anna Condo was born in Armenia, raised in France, and trained in art history and archaeology in Paris. She worked for decades as a filmmaker and photographer, and since 1989 has divided her time between New York and Paris. Nan Goldin photographed her in her living room in the late 1990s. Condo turned to photography in 2013 and to AI image-making in 2022. Her series COLOR CODE presents figures whose faces are hidden by flowers, hands, or turned away, and Sunday School was shown in 2025 in the group exhibition 'Synthetic Realities: Authenticity in the Age of AI Imagery' at Galerie Met in Berlin. The same year her work appeared in 'Factory Reality: Post Realism in the 2020s' at SuperRare's Offline gallery in New York. She has released more than 1,400 works across 37 collections on Foundation, and the project DATASPHERE through Art Blocks Studio.
