Bárbara Bezina is an Argentine artist, born in 1980, who works across analog and digital photography, painting and drawing. She is self-taught, having begun drawing as a child before moving into painting and digital art; her interest in photography grew out of that digital practice. Her photographic work centers on long-exposure and multiple-exposure self-portraits, often made with expired film, which she develops herself. At 28 she relocated to a mountain village in San Juan, Argentina, and lives with her husband on a self-sustaining piece of land. Since 2018 she has released photography and digital art as NFTs on platforms including Objkt and SuperRare. Her work was shown in a gallery curated by Valuart at the Plug-Mi festival in Milan in 2022, and Valuart Solos presented a solo exhibition of her work in April 2023.
