ClownVamp

ClownVamp is an American artist based in New York City who works anonymously, combining AI-generated imagery with narrative writing to build interactive, alt-history story worlds. The pseudonym comes from a CryptoPunk with both clown and vampire traits, a relic of the years he spent as a collector, trading Bitcoin and NBA Top Shot and collecting NFT art on Tezos before joining the Midjourney beta and making images of his own. His projects include Detective Jack, an interactive murder mystery in which collectors steer a branching storyline, and "Chester Charles: The Lost Grand Master," a 2023 solo show in New York that staged a retrospective for an invented queer Impressionist painter and addressed the absence of queer imagery from art history. He founded the AI artist group MAIF. In 2025 he presented THE JUNK MACHINE, an interactive installation, at MAD Arts in Dania Beach, Florida.
