Marc Maurer

Marc Maurer is a Kazakhstani generative artist who lives and works in Karaganda. He came to the field from graffiti and abstract art, and works with generative adversarial networks, P5.js code and a pen plotter. His early process began with pixel sorting, and he has cited Gerhard Richter as an influence. Maurer released the series F0B0S and Neptunus in 2022. His plotter drawings were shown at Galerie Data in Paris in 2024, in a duo exhibition with Lenia Mascha called Interlace. In 2025 he took part in Forged in Data in Cannes and New Retinas at ARTLAB Siroco in Madrid.
