MIKEY. Woodbridge

Mikey Woodbridge is an artist from Stockton, Australia, based in Berlin, working across performance, painting, photography, song and NFTs. As a singer, songwriter and DJ he uses the name MIKEY. Since 2015 he has collaborated with the poet Ezra Shibboleth, and in 2021 the two co-conceived OtherFaces, Woodbridge's first sustained presence on the blockchain. In 2023 Woodbridge and Shibboleth released LATENT COUTURE, a collection of 555 AI-generated fashion images built from photographs of Woodbridge's years as a performer, painter and designer. It was shown in full at KINDL – Center for Contemporary Art in Berlin in "POLY. A fluid show", curated by Solvej Ovesen, and twenty-one of the works were included in "Science Fiction Design: From Space Age to Metaverse" at the Vitra Design Museum. His work I enrage them. is in the permanent collection of the Francisco Carolinum in Linz.
