MintFace

MintFace is the pseudonym of Ryan, a painter and the founder of The Line, a metaverse art community whose galleries connect artist to artist without hierarchy or competition for visibility. The Line also has a physical outpost in Hastings, New Zealand, which shows mainly MintFace's paintings alongside works by other artists. In 2021 he published The Minted Book, which chronicled nearly 100 NFT artists and was itself sold as an NFT, one of the first occasions on which many NFT collectors received something tangible for a purchase. He has since curated a spatial gallery revisiting a selection of the artists featured in the book, and has taught a course on the NFT digital artist economy.
