Nuclear Samurai

Nuclear Samurai is a digital artist working with AI-generated imagery in a post-photographic practice, with a visual style drawn from cinematic, subtly surreal photography. He worked as a commercial and studio photographer before turning to digital art, and his work deals with truth in images, identity in the digital era, and the absurdities of how society is structured. In 2022, after the death of his father and the birth of his daughter, he decided to pursue art full time, began minting on OpenSea and was accepted into the Midjourney beta. His breakthrough came at the end of that year with the ten-week narrative collection Nuclear Samurai. He is also known for BAPTISM, a post-photographic project built on documentary-style images of a fictional 1996 Manhattan flood, and for X FIGURES. He also releases work under the alt identity NUKE, also known as Nukedoteth.
