qubibi / Kazumasa Teshigawara: Born in Tokyo. After graduating from junior high school, worked at a textile processing factory in Nihonbashi. Went through a number of jobs before entering web design in 1998. Went independent in 2006 and founded qubibi. Notable works include "hello world," "MIMIZU," and "Door," among many others. Served as part-time lecturer at Tama Art University, Department of Integrated Design, Design Basics (2014–2024). Recipient of numerous awards including D&AD, One Show Interactive, Cannes Lions, and the Japan Media Arts Festival. Solo exhibitions held internationally in Zurich, Paris, London, New York, Berlin, and other cities.
