Schmrypto

Schmrypto is an NFT collector, curator and producer who worked in traditional painting before turning to NFTs. Collecting since May 2021, Schmrypto curates the Central Hall of Schmrypto's Museum of Anthropogenic Crypto Art (SMOACA), an on-chain museum of human-made crypto art. In 2025 Schmrypto served as producer on Schmaints, a project conceived and executed in 2022 by Chris Rocca with the developer OmbraRD, made shortly after the Russian invasion of Ukraine and taking its cue from Christian Borys's Saint Javelin. Two further museums are in planning: Schmrypto's Museum of Electronic Generative Modern Art, an on-chain space for AI and generative work, and a physical museum to house a personal collection of vintage generative art from the mid-twentieth century.
