Built on a foundation of thousands of physical renditions of common computer symbols, Encore embraces repetition -- in the physical creation of the foundational symbols, in the process of overwriting as each new layer is applied, and as a way to focus on the true unbiased state of each work. The outputs of Encore are meant to translate the physical process of making these marks into a fully digital form, embracing digital methods to replicate a physical process while maintaining a computer-art aesthetic.
