Do Not Pass

There's very little street crime in Shibuya but lots of police everywhere, most often standing around bored. Giving directions is the most exciting thing they get to do most days, occasionally something really big like a truck needing to turn around happens and they get to block traffic. This photo appeared in my 2017 photobook "Don't Go Outside" which collected several years of my street photos from Tokyo.
