Hachikō Transitions

The Hachikō exit at Shibuya train station is probably the most famous place to meet up in all of Tokyo. At almost any moment of the day you can find people searching the crowd for friends they supposed to meet. Because Shibuya is such a night life city this melting pot the evenings get really interesting if you are into people watching, as the shift from who people are during the day to who they get to be at night happens right before your eyes. This photo appeared in my 2017 photobook "Don't Go Outside" which collected several years of my street photos from Tokyo.
