LIFT (a self portrait)

LIFT is a self portrait, both figuratively and experientially. Each of the 1000 artworks generated feature a unique “pixel man” which is a character I’ve come to see as myself through years of working across different mediums and technologies. In addition, each artwork includes a fully generative Gameboy Advance ROM that represents the adventure I, and many of my peers, have experienced over the last several years. Both serve as an invitation to not only see me, but to also see yourself.
